*For those of you that are wondering what the tour was all about here is a recap: We drove and taught on the east coast classes based off my book Make it Fizz and I am sharing the journey with you. Day 18 of our journey Our last day together before the boys headed home and Lexi and I continued on to Vermont, we decided to take the train to Salem. It was about hour train ride. We went to a farmers market and found a soapmaker. She was very nice. Here is her business I bought a bar of soap and it smells heavenly. After the market we went to the Salem witch museum. We took the tour , but they allowed no photos in there and I was not about to take a picture. I thought it would be scary and creepy. But it was more like people were called a witch then punished. No evidence that they did anything. Kinda more weird than anything, We walked the town... We found the House of Seven Gables. There is a hidden staircase in there. We did not take the tour, but we went in and looked around. It is a very old town, lots of grave yards and very old buildings. Cody loved some ice cream it was a frozen pudding. We tried to take the ferry back , but it was double for non residents and was more than the train ride back (CRAZY). So we walked another mile down the road to a cute town that has a huge game room. Fresh popcorn and the best chow mien in the east. Chris had chicken wings and the seagull swooped and ate the whole thing, as you can see Lexi and the seagulls were friends lol. We head back to Boston and packed the car and got all the bags packed! We left for Vermont and the boys headed home. UGGGGHHHHH! I was home sick and wanted to go too!. Tomorrow I will share Vermont with you!! ~Holly
